The HRIS team at Groupon is responsible for the ongoing support, maintenance, and deployment of HR systems within Groupon's application portfolio. With Workday as our primary HCM system, team members have a primary focus within the various Workday modules and ensuring the integrity of data flowing to downstream internal and 3rd party systems. The HRIS team provides support to our various HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) along with other teams throughout Groupon for a cross-functional team approach to achieve Groupon's organizational goals.

We are looking for a dynamic, well-rounded Senior Global HRIS Analyst to join our HR Systems team. The Senior Global HRIS Analyst will be responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of human resource information systems (HRIS) associated with the collection, retrieval, accessibility and usage of employee information for Human Resource department planning and activities. Participates and/or leads annual or ad-hoc projects intended to provide process enhancements, maximize HRIS system utilization, and improve ease of use for system users in other HR teams or other areas of the business. Maintains internal database files and tables and develops custom reports to meet the requirements of Human Resource management and staff. Works with Human Resources personnel to evaluate HRIS software and hardware needs and may design new or modify existing HRIS to meet changing demands. May serve as HR department liaison with other areas of HR or company.

What to Expect:

  • Responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of Workday’s modules

  • Lead or support various projects as part of the annual HRIS Roadmap

  • Support Workday solution by maintaining organizations and setup data

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to configure Workday solutions to meet business needs

  • Assist in the creation and review of mass updates of data and data extraction using EIBs

  • Collaborate with functional experts to produce formal configuration requirements documentation

  • Review software releases to assess impact of new features

  • Assist with the definition of system processes and standards

 

We’re excited about you if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 3-5 years as a Workday functional analyst with an analytical approach to solving problems

  • 3-5 years configuration experience of Workday modules and business processes

  • Experience gathering business requirements and writing and executing test scripts

  • Data manipulation skills, including Excel; comfortable dealing with large amounts of data

  • The ability to understand and react quickly to changing priorities

  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, and can understand and explain customer situations and solutions
