As the Mobile User Acquisition Specialist for Groupon, you will be responsible for helping generate app users as well as increasing engagement to drive consumption within our apps (iOS/Android). You will work with Groupon’s global product, engineering and analytics teams to ensure that our mobile marketing dollars are spent as effectively as possible, implementing industry leading tools and new tech to drive the highest possible yield for the company in terms of customer lifetime value and company profitability. You will play a critical role in driving the acquisition strategy for Mobile. This position requires attention to detail, passion for driving results, and the ability to multitask several ongoing projects.

You’ll spend time on the following:

  • Plan, manage, and monitor user acquisition campaigns and retargeting campaigns to acquire App customers 

  • Work closely and liaise between our Mobile agency and partners and internal teams 

  • Work with the Mobile ENG and Product teams to deliver programs which will drive growth across paid channels;

  • Communicate regularly and clearly to the teams and executives, the plans, status, challenges

  • Lead the optimization efforts across creative, geo, platform, and channel to deliver performance at scale

  • Work with your stakeholders to facilitate all analysis and measurement reporting required;

  • Collaborate with Marketing Analytics and Tech team to identify opportunities for automation and process improvements

  • Work closely with our Creative Teams to support the creative direction of our advertising assets

  • Produce reports, identifying trends and optimization opportunities. 

  • Be accountable to the business for day to day projects, monitoring efficiency and spend allocation;

We’re excited about you if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing/Communications;

  • 3-5 years experience working with digital ad platforms, ideally focused on app customer acquisition;

  • Hands on experience in ad platforms such as Facebook, Apple Search Ads, Google, Ironsource etc. 

  • Deep understanding of the app ecosystem and acquisition metrics (CPD/CPI);

  • Strong understanding of Mobile tools such as Kochava, Branch, App Annie, Sensor Tower and others

  • Comfortable working with Product and Engineering teams to launch new tools and features for Mobile acquisition

  • Data driven – have the ability to draw insights from data, dig in to find the performance drivers and decide on the best next steps;

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow processes;

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;

  • Excellent organizational skills;

  • Good interpersonal and strong communication skills;

  • Technically curious with a thirst for knowledge of Mobile Marketing;

  • Oral and written language skills in English (C1);

  • Strong technical skills in MS Office and G Suite, especially in Excel.
