As Global SEO Content Manager you will be responsible for Groupon’s global SEO content  strategy and execution.

Playing a pivotal role in introducing Groupon to millions of people while searching Google, YouTube, and other popular search engines, you will be accountable for content publishing output, SEO traffic, subscriber, and revenue targets.

The Global SEO Content Manager will work closely with Brand, Editorial, Social, Merchandising, and Product teams. This role will report to the Global SEO Director.

Our Marketing team takes our diverse businesses to market - positioning our brands with consumers, translating that to engaging marketing actions, delivering an exceptional experience that connects them to our merchants and in turn drives business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, plan and execute global full funnel SEO Content strategy aligned to business objectives and key results

  • Identify content opportunities focused on key inventory, merchandising opportunities, and brand initiatives

  • Develop and manage processes for content creation, refreshes, migrations, and redirects at scale.

  • Deliver concise content briefs and project specifications to cross-functional partners across Brand, Editorial, Merchandising, Social, Product, and Agency teams.

  • Report on content KPIs to leadership teams

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years with SEO, content marketing, blogging, and/or YouTube optimization

  • 3+ years experience with CMS platforms, including WordPress

  • Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills

  • Proven ability to make analytical, data-supported decisions and recommendations

  • Strong experience with Excel, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, AHREFs, and Screaming Frog

  • Proficient with SEO best practices

  • Experience with content translation and localization

Great To Have:

  • E-commerce, Journalism, and/or copywriting background

  • Second European language

  • A/B testing experience

  • UX experience
