As a SEC Reporting Senior Analyst, your focus will be on the external financial reporting process. Specifically, with the preparation and review of the Company’s financial statements and related disclosures in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements (including 10-Qs, 10-Ks and 8-Ks), as well as the timely filing with the SEC. The financial reporting team evaluates financial information for accuracy and completeness. This team coordinates various press releases (including earning releases) with legal and investor relations and ensures all financial information included in these filings is accurate and complete. In this role you would work closely with the external auditors to ensure audit requests are provided on time. The SEC reporting team also works closely with the internal audit department to ensure the internal controls over the external reporting process are documented appropriately and testing is completed on time.

You’ll spend your time on the following:

  • You will work with the Senior Manager and Manager of SEC Reporting to prepare financial statements, footnote disclosures, GAAP disclosure checklists and MD&A disclosures.

  • Collaborate with the investor relations team to assist in the tie out of financial data in earnings releases and investor presentations.

  • You will prepare, distribute, collect and analyze information received in the international reporting packages.

  • You will help prepare the quarterly cash flow statements.

  • You may help other technical accounting workstreams, such as stock-based compensation, leases, revenue recognition, etc. .

  • You will research new FASB guidance and draft or review white papers.

  • Perform financial reporting research of U.S GAAP and SEC guidance and benchmark peer company-comparable disclosures.

  • You will assist in the preparation of the external auditor’s PBCs items.

  • Work with internal audit on financial reporting, SOX documentation and testing.

  • You will collaborate with other cross functional teams across Finance, Legal, and more..

We’re excited about you if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

  • CPA preferred

  • 3+ years of experience, with some SEC reporting preferred

  • You're an expert communicator, delivering both written and verbal messages succinctly

  • You're a details person with a penchant for preparing meticulously accurate work

  • You thrive in an often-times ambiguous environment

  • You're proficient with MS Office, with Excel being your secret favorite

  • Knowledgeable in Workiva a plus

  • If performed in New York City, Seattle, or the Bay Area in California, the salary range for this role is between $81,900.00 and $128,700.00. If performed in New York (outside of New York City), Washington State (outside of Seattle), California (outside of the Bay Area), or Colorado, the salary range for this role is between $75,600.00 and $118,800.00. The salary range for this role may be different if performed from another location. This role is eligible for participation in a performance-based cash incentive program.
