The Sales Operations Specialist acts as a business partner for internal teams, mainly focused on sales and merchandising, providing them guidance with the aim to improve process efficiency and effectiveness. He/she acts as a point of contact/escalation in case of operational issues/bottlenecks, as well as provide support to the International Travel Operations team.

You’ll spend time on the following:

  • Act as point of escalation for potential process-related issues or bottlenecks, and assist internal teams in resolving them

  • Be proactive in identifying potential process improvements and looking for opportunities to prevent any potential issues and bottlenecks

  • Maintain the existing Travel job repository and ensure updates are processed and issues are addressed and fixed

  • Collaborate with Sales Operations team in preparing and implementing tool and process improvements aiming to increase operational efficiency and effectiveness in particular (but not limited to) related to maintaining a proper data structure in database

  • Independently manage small-scale projects

  • Support cross-functional & cross departmental efficiency projects to improve collaboration and achieve streamlined processes 

  • Support Operations senior team in the execution of large scale projects in particular where SQL, Python and data driven results are needed

  • Where appropriate, collaborate with wider INTL Operations & Business Analytics stakeholders to support build-out & implementation of cross-functional deliverables.

We expect that you have:

  • Bachelor Degree obtained, preferably in Business Administration related sector

  • 2-3 years of experience on a similar position

  • Innovative and has high willingness to change

  • Proactive and hands on attitude

  • Strong follow up and supportive approach

  • Understanding of business related processes

  • Eye for detail and well organized

  • Verbal and written English proficiency at business level (Level B2 as the min.)

  • Additional languages are an asset

  • Work independently with a positive attitude, self and team motivation, and flexibility

  • Project management skills are an asset/benefit

  • High level of IT proficiency:

    • Salesforce - high level of knowledge on reporting capabilities

    • SQL - intermediate to high level

    • Python - intermediate

    • Excel - intermediate Google sheet Scripts & Macros
