Description
Senior SEM Operations Specialist owns/coordinates at 2-3 SEM projects related to program and product development and works in close cooperation with analytics/engineering/3rd party teams. Senior SEM Operations Specialist supervises and is responsible for performance of 1-2 channel programs and executes campaign creation/management activities across all of Groupon’s online marketing channels and platforms.
This position requires attention to details, passion for operational excellence, project management skills, solid verbal & written communication skills and ability to multitask while working to tight deadlines.
You’ll spend your time on the following :

Creating, managing, and optimizing PPC campaigns in AdWords for the entire Groupon (multiple countries, different platforms, significant budgets, and the opportunity to A/B test on giant datasets).

In addition to PPC campaigns, we also work on GDN and social media campaigns.

Your responsibilities will include regular reporting, campaign setup, and communication with the data team.

Collaboration with other SEM specialists across the company (Czech Republic, Poland, UK, US).
We’re excited about you if you have :

Deep knowledge of PPC campaigns and proficiency in programs such as Google Ads, Sklik, Google Analytics, Data Studio, etc.

Unfortunately, we don't have a suitable environment for a complete novice in the field.

Many campaigns are automated, and we strive to find the best measurement options.

You should enjoy the analytical aspect of campaigns.

A willingness to learn, understand concepts, and test market innovations.

A passion for online marketing and numbers (evaluation, setup, Excel work).

The ability to handle things, find information, and if something doesn't add up in the numbers, you won't just let it be; you strive to find solutions.

We are primarily looking for people with the same mindset, enthusiasm, ambitions, and a desire to push things forward.
Location
- We prefer the Czech Republic/Slovakia, but it's not decisive whether you are located in Prague, Bratislava, Brno, or elsewhere. We can function full remote.
