We are looking for a team player who is motivated and enthusiastic about all things digital . Working in a fast-paced shared services environment, the Marketing Automation and Project Coordinator will support the Global Marketing Operations team to drive our online marketing activities globally.

This role will be responsible for campaign execution activities across all of Groupon’s online marketing channels and platforms. This position requires attention to detail, passion for operational excellence and the ability to multitask while working to tight deadlines.

You’ll spend time on the following:

  • Acts as a channel contact between the strategic and operational teams and the respective channel partners;

  • Coordinates the execution process of the whole variety of marketing campaigns designed to drive revenue and grow Groupon’s customer base globally;

  • Manages or supports marketing side programs and recurring campaigns;

  • Runs and/or partakes in various testing initiatives and larger scale marketing projects; 

  • Improves, tests, analyzes and drives significant changes in the Groupon promotion strategy;

  • Analyzes the current customer segments to propose and drive initiatives. A/B tests and provides insights on new and existing customers programs;

  • Drives improvements in the Managed Channel;

  • Drives campaign automation and initiatives in-and outside of the Planning Calendar;

  • Analyzes and reports on performance and efficiency; 

  • Performs mass campaign updates as necessary;

  • Completes projects and other duties as assigned.

We’re excited about you if you have:

  • 1+ years of experience in Online Marketing is a plus

  • Degree in a related field such as Business/Marketing/Online/Communication preferred

  • Students or fresh graduates from Marketing are more than welcome

  • Oral and written language skills in English (C1);

  • Project management experience preferred;

  • Attention to detail, passion for operational excellence, and the ability to multitask while working to tight 

  • deadlines;

  • Proficient technical skills in MS Office, Google+, Google Docs;

  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow the process;

  • Goal-oriented with excellent organizational skills;

  • Ability to pivot quickly due to changing priorities;

  • Work to deadlines and manage to deliver projects with minimal supervision;

  • Good understanding of digital marketing and consumer trends;

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, not afraid to ask questions;

  •  Knowledge of at least one of the following languages (in addition to English): French, Italian, German, Spanish, Dutch;

  • Strong analytical skills;

  • SQL Knowledge is a plus
