As a part of Groupon’s Product Analytics & Insights team, our team is the glue between consumer product feature development and business value it drives.   . We work closely with Consumer Product Team which bring to life an ecommerce product which is used  by millions of customers everyday.

As a Manager, you’ll be working with designers, product managers, marketing/merchandizing partners , and senior management to build deep-dive and drive actionable insights for the success of the product.. In this role, you’ll be working on projects that will have a direct impact on large-scale initiatives and be able to see your hard work pay off quickly.

You’ll spend time on the following:

  • Driving the vision and strategy for your area of the Consumer Product Analytics

  • Manage a team of 3-5 highly skilled analysts to deliver projects, with high quality and on time

  • Collaborate with business leaders to manage intake, roadmap, prioritize, and manage staffing against key initiatives

  • Develop data-driven business insights and work with the team and cross-functional partners to identify opportunities, drive product strategy, planning, and execution

  • Define Key Performance Indicators and other user/business metrics, in close partnership with Product Management and other disciplines such as engineering, and marketing

  • Run experiments and develop dashboards and data visualizations to enable observability and to communicate results to leadership. 

  • Provide rigorous technical mentorship to the team.

  • Answer complex business questions and define new and existing product metrics via SQL queries to enable business and product owners to make critical decisions

  • Analyzing consumer interaction with product features through qualitative and quantitative measurement

  • Building relationships with different people across all business organizations while exploring different functional areas of Groupon

We’re excited about you if:

  • You have 6+ years of analytic industry experience, including at least 2+year of experience in managing team

  • You’re a self-starter who can execute in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction

  • You can work collaboratively in an environment that promotes constant team communication

  • Your oral and written communication skills are top notch

  • Advanced SQL expertise

  • Experience building intuitive dashboards and data visualizations that drive business decisions

  • A plus if you have MBA
