We work in various Centers of Excellence across the globe and collaborate together to build from scratch and provide guidance to our partners around the organization. As a young yet evolving company, we’ve grown a robust HR department with dedicated resources for each line of business; yet there are still plenty of ways to impact, change, or improve how our team works.

The HR Operations team is based in our Dublin office. You will be responsible for responding to all incoming inquiries from employees, managers, HR team members, and former employees. This person will act as the go to HR resource and subject matter expert for a wide variety of HR related queries.

Job Description


  • You’ll spend time on the following:

    • Triage inquiries pertaining to Human Resources in an accurate and timely manner utilising internal resources such as Zendesk, email, phone calls, chat, etc.

    • Responsible for a variety of HR administrative tasks including but not limited to benefits and compensation queries, talent acquisition processes, onboarding and offboarding, and employee data changes 

    • Research and resolve issues by partnering across the HR organisation (or escalating when appropriate) across different EMEA countries.

    • Have a general understanding of policy and procedure and be able to help employees/manager navigate these documents 

    • Provide solutions to employees but also education to the organisation on self-service options available to them

    • Ensure the documentation of all incoming inquiries and associated actions taken

    • Ensure that data compliance and GDPR standards are met. Take part in data audits as needed.   

    • Meet key metrics for query resolution such as timeliness, accuracy, quality, tone, error-rate, and/or others

    • Identify and contribute to process improvement initiatives via streamlining and automation within the Operations team.   

    • Maintenance of both our internal and external (business facing) process guides  

    • Contribute to Global HR projects across Groupon 

    • Facilitate with Exit interviews 

    • Provide administrative support for Employee Relations issues as needed 

    • Support with the education of Managers on WD functionality 


  • We’re excited about you if you have:

    • Typically requires a university degree unless requisite skills have been developed through equivalent support level experience. 

    • 1-2 years’ experience in HR (Shared Service environment a plus)

    • A solid understanding of Basic HR fundamentals. 

    • Strong computer skills including experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

    • Experience with HRIS systems is a plus. Experience with Workday a strong plus

    • Experience with Google Docs a plus

    • Strong customer service acumen and positive attitude

    • Flexibility, able to work in a fast paced and changing environment.

    • Be able to deliver a great service across different countries in EMEA and / or Globally

    • Fluency in English

    • Fluency in German o French or Italian is a plus
