Global Onboarding & Activation Program Manager

The Global Onboarding & Activation Program Manager, based in Dublin will help develop our global onboarding strategy in order to drive customer activation, engagement and profitable, long-term customer relationships. You will work with a cross-functional team of business partners to ensure effective customer onboarding strategies are implemented across channels and platforms. 

 

You’ll spend time on the following:

  • Lead and evolve Groupon’s global onboarding and activation program, including an effective omnichannel onboarding experience and retargeted post-purchase journey.

  • Be the global ambassador for new Groupon customers and the source of knowledge and truth for all aspects of the segment.

  • Collaborate with Analytics and Insight partners to undertake segment analysis, identify and define strategic problems and opportunities and take action to address these. ​​

  • Define and manage the Onboarding and Activation performance metrics and report on Segment Performance as part of Weekly and Monthly Business Reporting.

  • Evolve the strategy and programs for onboarding and activation across marketing channels and onsite platforms

  • Lead customer onboarding, partnering closely with channel partners, to enable targeted activation campaigns to be built and delivered as part of customer journeys

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the company to identify, prioritise, and ensure the development and delivery of onboarding and activation marketing campaigns across managed and paid channels

  • Partner with marketing, product, engineering, and operations teams to define, design, and implement the features in our marketing platforms that improve our ability to effectively and efficiently activate and onboard customers

  • Develop Onboarding and Activation OKRs and collaborate closely with channel teams, product management, revenue management and finance partners to achieve goals

  • Maintain an excellent knowledge of best practices in onboarding and activation and the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.

  • Work closely with the Global Reactivation Program Manager to re-onboard customers and nurture the post-purchase relationship to drive frequency and value.

  • Collaborate with the other Program Managers to effectively integrate the Onboarding and Activation experience into the overall customer lifecycle. 

We're excited about you if you have:

  • 5+ years of CRM and lifecycle marketing experience

  • Strong experience with global email and push marketing channels

  • Basic understanding of paid marketing channels, including SEM, Paid Social and Display Advertising

  • Ability to think strategically and build and deliver hands-on (without agency reliance)

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a cross-functional team, and to lead others by influence and example

  • Experience effectively leading and managing diverse, high performing global teams
