As an integral part of the Human Resources department, the Compensation and Benefits Analy st will assist in the design and development of compensation and benefits plans and tools that attract, retain, and motivate the amazing people who drive the Groupon business strategy.

You will work closely with the global Compensation and Benefits team and HR Business Partner team in providing guidance to management and employees regarding compensation and benefits programs while ensuring top quality customer service. The Compensation and Benefits Analyst will provide a broad spectrum of compensation and benefits support to the organization, including participating in or leading several key projects, including survey participation and annual processes.

You’ll spend time on the following:

  • Creation and maintenance of excel-based compensation tools for key partners (e.g. Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, Business Leaders)

  • Collaboration with HR, recruiting and management on salary determinations for new hires, promotions, transfers, changes, and other compensation actions by analyzing both internal and market pay and providing data-based recommendations

  • Participation in global market benchmarking surveys, including survey submissions and analysis of results

  • Review, evaluate, and analyze internal job descriptions to determine appropriate job level and survey benchmarks for new and existing jobs

  • Administration in portions of the annual salary review and quarterly promotions processes

  • Participation in efforts to revise and streamline existing compensation and benefits processes and/or assist in developing new processes

  • Maintenance of compensation and compensation-related data in the HRMS system, Applicant Tracking System, and any other internal systems of record, including job code, salary structures, employee data entry, reporting and validation

  • Understand and interpret compensation policies and procedures

  • Assist in the development of compensation communication, training materials, and intranet content

  • Other special projects and duties as assigned

We’re excited about you if you have:

  • 3-5 years of Compensation & Benefits experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance or related discipline preferred

  • CCP designation or coursework a plus

  • Experience in supporting multiple countries

  • Experience in using any of the salary surveys (e.g. Towers Watson, Radford, Hay, etc.)

  • Extensive Excel and Google Sheets knowledge and experience

  • Outstanding attention to details

  • Workday experience a plus

  • Strong analytical skills, communications (verbal and written) skills and problem solving skills

  • Ability to interact and consult with senior management
