Giftcloud is looking for a Sales Executive to join our growing team. The role of Giftcloud Business Development Executive is to sell Giftcloud's suite of digital marketing solutions to well-known UK brands, focusing on, but not exclusively, Telco, Energy, Travel, Publishing and B2B sectors. Any contacts within these sectors is advantageous though non-essential.
This is a new business role, therefore requires any applicant to be able to be self-motivated and able to reach targets successfully. You will be expected to create and maintain your own pipeline - with assistance from the team - and convert into sales accordingly. You will have a set of KPIs on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis that will be based on your revenue generated as well as that of the wider team
The successful applicant will be able to integrate well with the client service and account team in order to ensure the smooth running of new campaigns for new clients.
Business Development Execs will also be encouraged and expected to help lead business innovation, product development and the delivery of the overall objectives of the business.

Key responsibilities include:

Lead sourcing and generation
-
Achievement of KPI’s on call rates, customer numbers and revenue.

To plan and prioritise sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales - especially managing personal time and productivity.

Plan and manage business portfolio/territory/business according to an agreed market development strategy.

Maintain knowledge of current product and services offerings to maximise sales opportunities and benefit to client.

Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.

Creation and maintenance of appropriate client records.
-
Record relevant information resulting from calls made to prospects/customers by updating system tools/databases and managing the sales pipeline.

Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
Specification
Requirements:
-
A proven successful sales track record with a minimum of one year’s experience.

Or, for sales starters, a demonstrable ability to learn quickly to establish themselves in a fast moving industry.

A clear understanding of the digital and mobile marketing sector and competitive landscape.

The ability to quickly establish relationships with potential customers in a business to business environment.

A proactive and determined approach, demonstrating initiative to achieve exceptional results.
