Account Executive - France

Description

 As an Account Manager you will have to account manage and grow affiliate partnerships within the French market for the International Groupon and vouchercloud Coupons Team. Assisting Account Managers with the growth of our top merchant accounts. You will be involved in strategising with a focus on delivering effective campaigns working within our INTL coupons team, the main purpose of this role is to manage mid and long tail merchants in the retail space while ensuring top quality content is promoted at all times. You will provide focus on client services and deliver the very best service to merchants, working with content teams, liaising with merchant managers and network managers on a daily basis. You will recruit new merchants, negotiate bespoke commercial deals. Other duties include management of newsletter content, page content and any other duty as required to fulfill this role.

You’ll spend time on the following:

  • Maintaining direct relationships with the assigned merchants within the French market

  • Communicating with assigned portfolio of merchants regularly via phone, Skype or email to retain the relationship, maintain performance and create opportunities for growth‬‬‬‬‬‬.

  • Establish strong connections within the online marketing and affiliate industry‬‬‬‬‬. ‬‬‬‬

  • Managing day to day merchant requests such as new content, advertising campaigns, optimizing current offers.

  • Working closely with content teams to ensure the highest quality of content is delivered to customers.

  • Owner of newsletter sends, creating and managing content for all team members in assigned market.

  • Managing coupons homepage content as per assigned market.

  • Analysing and reporting on weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual account performance of the channel and affiliates.‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

  • Ensure that the affiliate program terms and conditions are adhered to‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬.

  • Identifying and recruiting new affiliates to the program.‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

  • Evaluating opportunities and setting the commission structure to achieve efficient ROI‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

  • Creating a plan to grow the affiliate mid and long-tail‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬.

  • Ensuring BAU affiliate processes are in place (e.g. validations, transaction queries, tracking issues, fraud and Risk procedures)‬‬‬‬‬‬

  • Travel to industry events when required‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

  • Perform other related duties as assigned‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

  • ‬Building new merchant relationships and maintaining them.

  • Work closely with senior account managers and account management teams to ensure the continued success of our relationships with merchants while building new relationships.

Reporting

  • Deliver weekly reports and updates on portfolio growth and effectiveness of campaign management

  • Utilise Google analytics, network data and market insight to deliver post campaign reports

  • Identify and report on weekly and monthly fluctuations within portfolio

  • Attend and prepare updates for the weekly affiliate meeting

  • Report on competitor activity for brands within portfolio

We’re excited about you if you have:

  • Have an excellent standard of French, both written and spoken - as well as fluent in English – written and Verbal (essential)

  • Have experience within the affiliate marketing industry (preferably over 12 months)

  • Have extensive experience handling accounts and coordinating digital campaigns

  • Have experience in online media negotiations

  • Have an understanding of SEO and PPC

  • Have an understanding of digital domains and their business/revenue    models

  • Be able to spot new opportunities in the online media space and know how online media can help businesses achieve their goals

  • Be familiar with affiliate platform tracking

As this role is based in London, you must have the right to work in the UK
