Account Coordinator - Affiliate

Description

Our Groupon Coupons team continues to establish Groupon as an integral marketing and advertising partner of iconic global brands. These brands not only shift the needle towards team and company revenue goals, but they are also a major source of subscriber activation and engagement.

As an Account Executive / Coordinator in our Affiliate Coupons team, you’ll be responsible for managing and growing affiliate partnerships within the ANZ market for the International Groupon Coupons Team. You’ll assist Account Managers with the growth of our top merchant accounts with a focus on delivering effective campaigns working within our Global International teams.

The main purpose of this role is to manage mid and long tail merchants in the retail space while ensuring top quality content is promoted at all times. You will provide focus on client services and deliver the very best service to merchants, working with content teams, liaising with merchant managers and network managers on a daily basis. You’ll manage existing partnerships, recruit new brands, negotiate bespoke commercial deals and deliver strategic and effective campaigns to drive online ad sales.

You'll be responsible for the following:

  • Managing direct relationships with the assigned brands in your portfolio within the ANZ market, maintaining performance and creating opportunities for growth

  • Being the main point of contact for all day to day merchant requests such as new content, campaigns proposals, optimizing current offers, imagery updates and more

  • Supporting the country lead in day to day admin and campaign planning tasks

  • Establishing strong connections within the online marketing and affiliate industry

  • Working closely with account managers, account executives and the wider account management team to ensure the continued success of our relationships with brands while building new relationships

  • Working closely with content teams to ensure merchant pages are up to date and  the highest quality of content is being delivered to customers

  • Owner of weekly newsletter sends: compiling these with any bookings plus the week’s best offers and setting up in the system

  • Analysing and reporting on weekly, monthly, quarterly account performance of the brands in your portfolio and sharing results and outcomes with team and/or agency/brand/network

  • Delivering reports and updates on portfolio growth and effectiveness of campaign management and competitor activity

  • Consistently deliver and exceed on quarterly KPIs and revenue goals

  • Acting as brand ambassador at all times and continue to establish strong connections within the online marketing and affiliate industry

A bit about you:

  • Prior Account Management or Coordination experience (client facing or agency is a bonus), or a recent Graduate in a relevant field and/or passionate about performance marketing,  affiliate industry and or digital domains

  • Strong negotiation and decision-making skills, customer-focused instincts and sound judgement

  • Commercially and analytically minded with strong financial evaluation and performance marketing management skills

  • Demonstrated experience in a fast paced, target driven environment with evidence of consistent and current success

  • Intellectual agility and creativity to respond to changing demands and create new solutions

  • Experience using Salesforce is a bonus

  • Analytical and strategic approach to data and performance reporting
